Cryogenic Steel Treatment
Cryo-treating is a gradual, multi-day process. It involves slowly cooling materials down to approximately -300° F, typically using liquid nitrogen, and then carefully returning them to room temperature. This process significantly extends the lifespan of steel, leading to much longer durability. Cryo treatment results in less internal stress, increased flexibility, and higher tensile strength.
