Sirris R38 Shock: Surron Light Bee X

The Sirris R38 Rear Shock upgrade brings true motocross-inspired suspension technology to the Surron Light Bee X (LBX). Based on the proven Sirris R46 platform, the R38 features oversized internal architecture, massive oil flow, and an advanced 2-Stage Compression (2SC) damping system for exceptional control, consistency, and durability on aggressive trails, jumps, and high-speed terrain.

Unlike typical mountain bike-based e-moto shocks, the R38 Shock is engineered specifically for the demands of lightweight electric dirt bikes. Independent high-speed and low-speed compression adjustment, rebound adjustment, and spring preload allow riders to fine-tune suspension performance for any riding style or terrain.

Important: The original factory Surron Light Bee X linkage and rear triangle are not compatible with the Sirris R38 Shock. The R38 requires the Prickly Triangle & Linkage Kit for Sirris R38: Surron LBX (sold separately). This purpose-built kit accommodates the larger R38 shock while maintaining factory rear ride height and wheel travel. No frame modifications are required.

Rider weight ranges are based on body weight without riding gear. Sirris accounts for approximately 15 lbs of riding gear in its recommended ranges. Additional weight from upgraded batteries, controllers, and other components should be considered when selecting a spring rate.

Important Notes:

• Requires the Prickly Triangle & Linkage Kit for Sirris R38: Surron LBX (sold separately).
• Stock Surron LBX linkage and rear triangle are not compatible with the R38 Shock.
• Installation is a direct bolt-on solution without drilling, fabrication, or frame modifications.
• The Prickly linkage system compensates for the R38's shorter shock stroke, maintaining factory rear wheel travel and ride height.
• Designed to pair with the Sirris F43 CMX Fork for balanced front and rear suspension performance.
• Fitment for the newer Surron Light Bee 2 (LB2) is under development and is not confirmed.
