Sirris R38 Shock: Arctic Leopard XE Pro S / Enduro / R
- Lead Time: Ships in 5 days
The Sirris R38 Rear Shock upgrade brings true motocross-inspired suspension technology to the Arctic Leopard XE Pro S, Enduro, and R electric dirt bikes. Based on the proven Sirris R46 platform, the R38 features oversized internal architecture, massive oil flow, and an advanced 2-Stage Compression (2SC) damping system for exceptional control, consistency, and durability on aggressive trails, jumps, and high-speed terrain.
Unlike typical mountain bike-based e-moto shocks, the R38 Shock is engineered specifically for the demands of lightweight electric dirt bikes. Independent high-speed and low-speed compression adjustment, rebound adjustment, and spring preload allow riders to fine-tune suspension performance for riding style, terrain, and rider weight.
Features
- Designed for the Arctic Leopard XE Pro S, Enduro, and R
- Moto-inspired R46 internal architecture in a compact chassis
- Independent high-speed and low-speed compression adjustment (2SC)
- Tool-free low-speed compression and rebound adjustment
- Adjustable spring preload
- High-flow 38mm piston for consistent damping and reduced fade
- Large 16mm hollow hard-chromed shaft for maximum strength and oil flow
- Type III hard anodized 6061 aluminum shock body with ACME threads
- CMX (Compact Motocross Tune) optimized for aggressive off-road riding
- Designed to pair with the Sirris F43 CMX Fork for a balanced suspension setup
Important: The original factory Arctic Leopard lower linkage is not compatible with the Sirris R38 Shock. Installation requires the TMB Sirris R38 Linkage, which was specifically developed to accommodate the larger R38 shock and is sold separately.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I really need the TMB linkage for this shock to work on my Arctic Leopard?
Yes. The stock Arctic Leopard linkage will not work with the Sirris R38 Shock because the shock is longer. The TMB Sirris R38 Linkage was designed specifically for the R38 and is required for installation on the Arctic Leopard XE Pro S, Enduro, and R.
Does the R38 Shock have more travel than the stock shock?
The motorcycle's wheel travel and ride height remain the same as stock. However, because the R38 uses larger, moto-style internal components, the shock itself has less stroke than the stock shock. The TMB linkage changes the suspension motion ratio to compensate for the shorter shock stroke while maintaining the intended wheel travel.
Does the R38 Shock and TMB linkage fit without frame modifications?
Yes. No frame modifications are required. The R38 Shock and TMB linkage are designed as a bolt-on solution for the Arctic Leopard XE Pro S, Enduro, and R. The TMB linkage is required, as the stock Arctic Leopard linkage is not compatible with the R38.
Does the R38 Shock and TMB linkage affect the bike's geometry or stance?
No. When paired with the Sirris CMX 220 Fork and TMB linkage, the R38 Shock maintains the Arctic Leopard's intended geometry and stance.
Can I buy the TMB linkage separately?
Yes. The TMB linkage is available separately through TMB and participating dealers.
Does the TMB linkage ship with the R38 Shock?
The TMB linkage is sold separately and must be added to your order along with the R38 Shock. When purchased together, the linkage fits inside the shock packaging and can ship with the shock as a single shipment.
